Job summary

Mitchell Street General Practice in South West Rocks, NSW, Australia, is seeking a health professional to join a collaborative clinic. You will administer immunisations, spirometry, ECGs, infusions and wound care while supporting chronic disease management and patient health assessments.

The role involves close work with GPs, allied health and admin teams, plus assistance with eHealth uploads and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is mandatory.
• Interest in primary health care and chronic disease management is desirable.
• Experience with infection prevention and control is preferred.
• CPR certification and competency in emergency resuscitation techniques are expected.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent time management and critical thinking abilities are required.

Job description

In this role, you will operate with a high degree of teamwork and clear lines of support. You will report directly to the Practice Manager for day-to-day operations, clinic workflows, and administrative support. You will work closely alongside our General Practitioners (GPs) and administrative team to ensure outstanding patient outcomes and maintain clinic accreditation standards. This role is currently 4-4.5 days per week.

Key responsibilities

Administer immunisations, spirometry, ecg's, infusions and wound care

Support patients with chronic disease management and health assessments

Work closely with doctors, allied health, and administrative teams

Support the GP at nursing homes when required

Assist with eHealth uploads and digital record-keeping

Contribute to accreditation, PDSA, and quality improvement initiatives

About you

Current AHPRA registration (mandatory)
