Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking Registered Nurses to join its growing network of medical centres across Australia. You will deliver high-quality primary care, administer vaccines and medications, and perform diagnostic tests like ECGs and spirometry within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted AHPRA RN registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience, with general practice exposure highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Bachelor of Nursing qualification with minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• General Practice or Primary Care experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care within a general practice setting.
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and perform ECGs and spirometry.
• Conduct wound care, dressings, suture removal, and bandaging.
• Assist with triage and emergency management when required.
• Support GPs with Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management activities.
• Coordinate care and follow-up for patients with chronic conditions.
• Educate patients about conditions and available healthcare services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

You'll Be Expected To

• Deliver high-quality clinical care within a general practice setting


• Administer vaccinations, medications, and perform diagnostic testing including ECGs and spirometry


• Perform wound care, dressings, suture removal, bandaging, and plastering


• Assist with triage and emergency management when required


• Support GPs with Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, and Chronic Disease Management activities


• Coordinate care and follow-up for patients living with chronic conditions


• Conduct health assessments and preventative health initiatives


• Educate patients about their conditions, treatments and available healthcare services


• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation


• Support quality improvement, accreditation, and infection control activities

Ideally, You'll Have

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)


• Bachelor of Nursing qualification


• Minimum 2 years' clinical nursing experience


• Previous General Practice or Primary Care experience (highly regarded)


• Experience in Chronic Disease Management and preventative health programs


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Excellent clinical assessment and organisational abilities


• Sound computer literacy and experience using clinical management systems
