Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing qualification.

• Experience in chronic disease management and health promotion is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the treatment room environment.
• Administer vaccinations and assist with immunisation programs.
• Perform wound care, ECGs, spirometry, dressings, plastering, and suture removal.
• Support chronic disease management and health assessments.
• Contribute to nurse-led clinics and patient education initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.

As a Practice Nurse, you'll work closely with our GPs and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care across treatment room nursing, chronic disease management, preventative health, and nurse-led clinics. About the Role

• Deliver quality nursing care within the treatment room environment.
• Administer vaccinations and assist with immunisation programs.
• Perform clinical procedures including wound care, ECGs, spirometry, dressings, plastering, and suture removal.
• Assist with chronic disease management including Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, and Reviews.
• Support nurse-led clinics and patient education initiatives.
• Conduct health checks and identify opportunities to improve patient health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Assist with infection control, stock management, and accreditation requirements.
• Work collaboratively with GPs and the broader healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

About You

• Essential Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Desirable Previous experience in General Practice or Primary Care.
• Experience in chronic disease management and health promotion.
• Minimum 2 years' experience providing direct clinical nursing care.
