Job summary

Bowral Medical Hub (Powered by Bupa) is seeking a casual Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to provide leave and sick cover within the clinic. You will work primarily Mondays 9:00am-4:30pm and Wednesdays 9:00am-3:00pm, with additional shifts for planned leave and ad hoc absences.

Working with GPs and the clinical team, you will perform immunisations, wound care, health assessments and chronic disease management, assist with procedures and educate patients to support optimal care.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Registered Nurse with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Experience in general practice, immunisations, wound care and health assessments preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Immunisations and vaccinations for patients.
• Wound care and dressings across clinical presentations.
• Health assessments and care planning with GPs.
• Chronic disease management in ongoing care.

The Opportunity

This flexible casual role is ideal for a nurse looking to supplement their existing work commitments. Current anticipated requirements are primarily Mondays (9:00am-4:30pm) and Wednesdays (9:00am-3:00pm), with additional shifts available to cover planned leave and ad hoc absences.
