Job summary

Sonic HealthPlus Darwin Clinic is seeking a Practice Manager with strong leadership to oversee the daily operations of the clinic, including staff supervision, budgets and patient services. The role is full-time, approximately 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in hours.

You will lead doctors, administer HR and IT, drive occupational health growth, and foster a collaborative, patient-focused team culture across onsite and in-clinic services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a clinical setting is essential.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day practice operations and ensure smooth clinic functioning.
• Coordinate and liaise with doctors and clinical staff.
• Monitor budgets, accounts and IT systems.
• Manage human resources including training and supervision of admin and nursing staff.
• Provide high levels of service to patients and promote occupational health services.
