Bulgarr Ngaru Medical Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a Practice Manager to lead the delivery of comprehensive primary health care across BNMAC clinics in NSW. You will be responsible for business planning, administration, financial management, quality and safety oversight, and fostering a values-driven team culture.

The role requires experience in management or senior practice administration, skills in health administration, and the ability to obtain all necessary security clearances.

Qualifications

• Previous management or senior practice administration experience.
• Understanding of medical terminology and health care administration.
• People management experience is required.
• Ability to obtain security clearances (National Police Check & NSW Working With Children Check).
• Work rights in Australia.
• Current NSW Drivers license or ability to obtain.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with the Medical Benefits Schedule.
• Knowledge of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.
• Experience with Pracsoft.

Bulgarr Ngaru Medical Aboriginal Corporation (BNMAC) provides a coordinated, comprehensive primary health care service with a focus on managing and reducing chronic disease in the Indigenous community.

The Practice Manager position is responsible for the overall management of the delivery of efficient and effective comprehensive primary health care services in the BNMAC clinics. The scope of the position includes business planning, administration, financial management, leadership, and oversight of health service quality and safety. The practice manager actively fosters a team environment and contributes to the development of a culture consistent with the organisation’s values.

This role ensures the smooth running of the practice on a daily basis and provides ongoing support to executive-level management. It also requires superior communication skills to maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Paying above award rate and contribution towards relocation expenses areconsidered for the preferred candidate. Salary sacrifice as part of the employment package.

• Previous experience in management and/or high-level practice administrative position
• Understanding of medical terminology, medical and allied health professional organisational skills and relevant stakeholders
• People management experience is required
• Ability to hold all relevant security clearances, including National Police Check and NSW Working With Children Check
• Work rights in Australia
• Current NSW Drivers licence or ability to obtain
• Training in CPR within the past three years
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Detailed understanding of the Medical Benefits Schedule
• An understanding or experience in general practice accreditation and standards.
• Previous experience with our clinical software: Pracsoft
• Tertiary qualification in Health Science, Health Administration or related discipline.
• Knowledge of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations
