You will oversee the day-to-day operations, support Healthcare Professionals, and report to the Director of Operations to ensure smooth clinic running.

The successful candidate will have strong business acumen, leadership, HR oversight, financial reporting, and a commitment to quality care.

Qualitas Health Care Australia is one of Australia’s leading healthcare providers with a network of Medical, Dental and Radiology Practices. Today, we have established over 40+ Medical Centres across Australia with in our Primary Care division and are proud to support 350+ Medical Professionals with highly skilled nursing and administration staff.

The Role

We are looking for a Full time, Practice Manager to join our new start-up practice in Capalaba, Queensland located inside the Capalaba Central Shopping Centre. In this role, you will manage and provide support to our employees and Healthcare Professionals. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of running a well-established medical practice.

The successful candidate will have a strong business acumen and must be able to supervise human resources, maintain financial records, increase business development, and maintain quality standards to ensure our medical professionals are provided with both non-clinical and clinical support to be able to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

The Requirements

• Must have demonstrated experience in trouble-shooting operational issues.
• Identify areas of improvement and liaise with various stakeholders including internal stakeholders.
• Maintains knowledge of legislation to ensure compliance standards are upheld.
• Supervision of performance and maintenance of all operating systems.
• Management and supervision of all employees.
• Experience in working with confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.
• Have the ability to work cooperatively and with autonomy.
• Can show a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Experienced liaison management with a team of doctors to ensure efficiency and smooth running for the clinic’s daily operations.

The Successful Candidate

• Proven Management and Leadership experience working with in the healthcare industry.
• Must be able to demonstrate a patient focused approach in service provision.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have a passion for working with people and an approachable management style.
• Previous experience working in healthcare.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role.
• Experience in setting up of new Medical Pactice is desirable, but not essential.
