Job summary

Back In Motion Burleigh Waters, part of the Healthia Group, is seeking a committed Practice Manager to lead and support our dynamic team on the Gold Coast. The role focuses on operational excellence, staff development, and delivering an exceptional patient experience within a thriving healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will oversee administration, rostering, accounts follow-up, and marketing activities, while maintaining a safe, clean practice environment and upholding Healthia

Qualifications

• Experience in a management role or in a healthcare/allied health setting (essential).
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating and communicating effectively with the administration and clinical team to ensure exceptional client health outcomes are achieved.
• Diary management including rostering administration staff and scheduling patient bookings.
• Monitoring, managing and following up on all outstanding and overdue accounts with appropriate parties.
• Ensuring existing administration procedures are conducted efficiently, following up all errors and reviewing if improvements can be made.
• Delivering marketing and business development activities as needed with a focus on building strong relationships with both clients and local businesses.
• Ensuring our practice (waiting rooms, consult rooms, staff rooms, gyms etc) is clean, tidy and safe at all times.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Manager to have a significant impact in the continued growth of our long-established practice in Burleigh Waters, a challenging role with broad responsibilities and excellent opportunities to truly shape the direction of our practice's customer experience, team management and business development.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be friendly, a great team player, able to lead a close-knit team and have excellent communication skills. This individual will also be a passionate leader who has the following:

Previous experience in a management role or in a healthcare/allied health setting (essential).

Familiarity with the Nookal Practice Management Software is highly regarded but not essential.

Leads by example, balancing kindness and accountability.

Is confident, motivated, calm under pressure and driven to continuously improve and learn.

Thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle conflicting priorities.

A mature, empathetic approach to work and problem-solving with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
