Job summary

Entirely Health Rockhampton and Yeppoon clinics, part of the Healthia network, are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead and support a dynamic team across two allied health clinics in Central Queensland. The role focuses on operational excellence, staff development, and delivering an excellent experience for both staff and patients.

You will drive coordinated clinic operations, manage rosters and bookings, oversee accounting tasks and contribute to marketing and business development

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a management role or in a healthcare/allied health setting is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Leads by example with a balance of kindness and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with administration and clinical teams to ensure exceptional client health outcomes.
• Diary management and rostering of administrative staff; scheduling patient bookings.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding and overdue accounts with appropriate parties.
• Improve existing administration procedures and identify potential improvements.
• Lead marketing and business development activities to build relationships with clients and local businesses.
• Ensure waiting rooms, consult rooms, staff rooms and gyms are clean, tidy and safe at all times.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time role where the successful candidate will be responsible for our Rockhampton and Yeppoon clinics' overall operations, development and success. The successful candidate will act as an information resource and ambassador to patients, referrers, the general public, therapists and administration staff.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Collaborating and communicating effectively with the administration and clinical teams to ensure exceptional client health outcomes are achieved.


• Diary management including rostering administration staff and scheduling patient bookings.


• Monitoring, managing and following up on all outstanding and overdue accounts with appropriate parties.


• Ensuring existing administration procedures are conducted efficiently, following up all errors and reviewing if improvements can be made.


• Delivering marketing and business development activities as needed with a focus on building strong relationships with both clients and local businesses.


• Ensuring the practices (waiting rooms, consult rooms, staff rooms, gyms etc) are clean, tidy and safe at all times.

The successful candidate will be friendly, a great team player, able to lead a close-knit team and have excellent communication skills. This individual will also be a passionate leader who has the following:

Previous experience in a management role or in a healthcare/allied health setting is essential.

Familiarity with the Nookal Practice Management Software highly regarded but not essential.

Is confident, motivated, calm under pressure and driven to continuously improve and learn.

Thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle conflicting priorities.

A mature, empathetic approach to work and problem-solving with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
