Job summary

BlueCare, a service of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Practice Lead to oversee Clinical Care Governance and Risk in our residential aged care services. You will embed the BlueCare Quality framework, drive policies, and support continuous improvement.

The role requires extensive aged care leadership, regulatory knowledge, and ability to travel Queensland locations; 12-month fixed-term, full-time with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Allied Health are required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous quality improvement practices.
• Experience with policy, regulatory requirements and organisational governance in aged care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed the BlueCare Quality framework to improve consumer experience and continuous improvement in residential services.
• Review and develop policies, procedures and tools to support quality and safe care.
• Lead decision making, problem solving and sharing learnings across the organisation.
• Travel to locations in Queensland as required and manage governance activities.
