Job summary

Osborne Richardson is seeking a Product Reporting Analyst to deliver analytics and BI services across product portfolios. You will transform data from JIRA, financial systems and other sources into dashboards and management information for governance and decision-making.

You will work with Product Leads, Project Coordinators and Finance to ensure timely, accurate reporting and strong data quality. The role offers a hybrid arrangement and is open to Queensland residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in project, product, PMO, portfolio or business performance reporting environments.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights for governance and decision-making.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI).
• Strong analytical and communication skills with stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyse and interpret project and portfolio data from JIRA, Confluence and related systems.
• Develop reporting measures providing visibility of progress, workload, capacity and portfolio health.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and milestones across projects and portfolios.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for operational and executive stakeholders.
• Translate complex information into clear, visual reporting for governance and leadership.

About the role:

As the Product Reporting Analyst, you will:

Provide analytical, reporting and business intelligence services to support visibility, governance and informed decision-making across the industry aligned Product portfolios.

Analyse and interpret project, portfolio, financial and operational data to provide meaningful insights that support planning, monitoring and decision-making.

Transform data from JIRA, financial systems and other business sources into reports, dashboards and management information that provide visibility of project progress, portfolio performance, risks, issues, resource utilisation and financial status.

Work closely with Product Leads, Project Coordinators, Finance and key stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, timely and relevant to operational and Executive reporting requirements.

Support governance and reporting processes by providing evidence-based analysis and insights that enable effective oversight of the Product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Extract, analyse and interpret project and portfolio data from JIRA, Confluence and associated systems.

Develop reporting measures that provide visibility of project progress, workload, capacity, throughput, productivity, delivery performance and overall portfolio health.

Monitor and report on project risks, issues, dependencies, milestones and project outcomes.

Support continuous improvement of JIRA reporting practices, data integrity and reporting processes.

Collaborate with Product Leads, Project Coordinators and stakeholders to promote consistent project reporting practices and data quality.

Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insights to operational and Executive stakeholders.

Translate complex project, financial and risk-related information into clear, accessible and actionable visual reporting.

Develop portfolio and project dashboards that improve visibility of performance, progress, resource utilisation and risk.

Prepare reports, briefings and portfolio updates for governance, leadership and Executive stakeholders.

Support ongoing enhancement of reporting capability, business intelligence tools and data visualisation practices.

Experience

Demonstrated experience in project, product, PMO, portfolio or business performance reporting environments.

Demonstrated experience using JIRA and Confluence.

Demonstrated experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations.

Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations or management accounting.

Experience using advanced Excel and business intelligence tools.

Qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
