Job summary

Aspirante is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a major digital transformation program in Brisbane. You will turn complex datasets into actionable insights to support operational and strategic decisions, with hands-on responsibility for Power BI development, data modelling, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong Power BI and DAX capabilities.
• Experience building dashboards and reports across multiple sources.
• Stakeholder engagement and translating business requirements into analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting, analytical and operational requirements.
• Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, patterns and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, visualisations, KPIs and performance measures.
• Translate business requirements into data and reporting specifications.
• Build and maintain Power BI reporting solutions.
• Validate data quality, accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Work with Data Engineers and Architects to improve data governance and usability.
• Support UAT, report validation and implementation.
• Develop analytical models and decision-support reporting.
• Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, analytics and business processes.

This is a hands-on analytics role combining Power BI development, data modelling, reporting, stakeholder engagement and data quality. You’ll work closely with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects and business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into practical analytics solutions.

• Project through to Feb 2028
• Paying up to $124 per hour
• Brisbane CBD location, 50% in office
