Job summary

UGL’s Utilities division is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Melbourne-based delivery of HV substations and transmission-line projects. The role will be based at Southbank with site visits, driving planning, delivery, governance and safety.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and external stakeholders, and ensure on-time, on-budget project completion while upholding quality assurance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience in utilities infrastructure, focused on power, HV substations and transmission projects.
• Tertiary accreditation such as AIPM/PMBOK/PMP.
• Strong understanding of construction principles in multi-discipline contracting.
• Solid budgeting, financial reporting and variance analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise projects for client delivery.
• Lead project teams to deliver on schedule, budget and scope.
• Oversee quality control throughout project lifecycle.
• Coordinate resources and ensure safe, timely and efficient project operation with strong communication and governance.
