Job summary

UGL is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead electricity networks projects across Victoria, from tender through to delivery and handover. You will own the full lifecycle, coordinating planners, crews and subcontractors while maintaining safety and commercial performance.

This role offers autonomy, direct client engagement with major network partners, and opportunities to scale delivery teams as our Victoria operations grow, with hybrid work where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electricity distribution or transmission projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, forecasting and project costs.
• Experience managing subcontractors, field crews and project stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to electricity depots around Victoria.

Responsibilities

• Lead electricity distribution and transmission projects through the full project lifecycle from tender through to delivery, close-out and client handover.
• Manage project performance across safety, commercial, quality and delivery outcomes, including budgets, forecasting, risk management, variations and compliance.
• Coordinate project resources to achieve successful outcomes, including internal delivery teams, supervisors, field crews, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and trusted partnerships.
