Job summary

Joblin Partners Pty is seeking an experienced Power Systems Team Leader to lead a skilled Power Systems group in Brisbane, spanning mining, energy and industrial projects. You’ll stay technically involved while guiding project delivery and developing engineers.

You’ll mentor engineers, build trusted client relationships, review technical work, and contribute to the team’s growth and commercial success. The role suits a leader ready to step into broader leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in power systems studies, modelling and relevant analysis software.
• Ability to review technical work and guide other engineers.
• Experience mentoring engineers and developing technical capability.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Power Systems Engineers.
• Provide technical leadership across power systems studies, modelling, analysis and project delivery.
• Review engineering work, ensuring technical quality and delivery against budgets and timelines.
• Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Build trusted client relationships, understand their challenges and identify opportunities for further engineering support.
• Contribute to commercial objectives and the continued growth of the Power Systems capability.
• Support workload planning, team performance and continuous improvement.
