Job summary

Selinc is seeking an experienced electrical engineer in Australia to lead design, protection, and automation projects for power systems. You will train customers, supervise deployment, and work across protection, automation, and commissioning tasks.

You should have strong communication skills, willingness to travel up to 25%, and a collaborative mindset to drive successful project outcomes in global settings.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with electric power systems, industry practices, and protection/automation focus area.
• Knowledge of electric power system protection, control, integration and communications.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% domestically and internationally.
• Strong writing, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer training and assist with deployment of automation and/or protection systems.
• Manage work within scope, schedule and budget with high quality and safety.
• Develop proposals for SEL equipment, services and systems.
• Mentor staff and uphold SEL values and principles.
• Oversee project lifecycle from proposal conception to commissioning and close-out.
