Job summary

You will design, implement, and commission protection and control solutions for complex substations and industrial systems. You will lead customer training, proposal development, and project execution within scope, schedule and budget, while mentoring staff and applying SEL values and World Class

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years of relevant power system experience.
• Strong knowledge of protection and control, automation, and communications.
• Willing to travel at least 25% domestically and internationally.
• Excellent writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of power system focus area to complex assignments.
• Lead training and assist customers with design, configuration, validation, installation, and operation of automation and protection systems.
• Manage scope, schedule and budget to deliver high quality, safe results.
• Assist in preparing and presenting proposals for SEL equipment, services, and systems.
• Mentor staff and uphold SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand, Create, Simplify.
