Job summary

IREN is seeking a Power Systems Lead to design, deliver, and optimise critical electrical infrastructure for its Australian data centre operations. You will review designs, support construction and commissioning, and drive safe, reliable power systems across the full lifecycle.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external engineers, ensuring compliance with AS/NZS codes and safety protocols while leading field work and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• CPEng with Engineers Australia or eligibility for RPEQ in QLD/NSW.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate electrical designs for data centre projects.
• Support construction and commissioning of power systems.
• Drive safe, reliable power systems across the project and operational lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external engineering teams.
