Job summary

Siemens AG in Melbourne seeks a Power Systems Engineer to join our Smart Infrastructure team within Power Technologies International. You will lead power system studies, produce client-facing reports, and shape technical and commercial proposals to support sales and negotiations.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience in power system studies.
Proficiency with PSS/E, PSCAD, and PowerFactory.
Experience with NEM/ Australian standards is desired.

Responsibilities

Deliver power system studies across transmission, distribution, microgrids, and hybrid grids.
Translate analytical findings into clear, high-quality reports with actionable recommendations.
Advise customers and internal teams on applying Siemens technologies to meet technical and commercial goals.
Develop tailored technical and commercial concepts to support sales pursuits.
Prepare detailed proposals, including cost estimates and technical scopes, and support contract negotiations.
Provide expert consulting to industry partners at technical and strategic levels.
