Job summary
GHD Advisory is seeking a Technical Director to lead Power System Capability and Planning, directing studies on transmission, grid development and renewable integration. You will provide strategic advice to utilities, operators and regulators while mentoring engineers and growing the practice across Australia and New Zealand.
You will head technical leadership, drive commercial outcomes, and collaborate with national and international teams on complex projects in a dynamic energy transition
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Eligibility for Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow Power System Capability and Planning offering across Australia and New Zealand.
- Lead technical studies relating to transmission network capability and future grid development.
- Provide strategic and technical advice to utilities, network service providers, and regulators.
- Mentor engineers and consultants across power systems and future energy disciplines.
- Prepare technical reports and advisory outcomes for connecting parties and system operators.
