Job summary

LVT People is seeking a Data Analyst in Sydney to join our enterprise-government client projects. You will extract, transform, and analyze data, build Power BI dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and deliver insights.

A Baseline Clearance is required and applicants must be Australian citizens residing in Australia. You will design data models, implement data relationships, and ensure governance while training end-users and delivering automated reports.

Qualifications

• Proven 3+ years as a Data Analyst with Power BI focus
• Proficiency in data modeling and DAX in Power BI
• Experience designing dashboards and reports in Power BI
• Strong data visualization principles and best practices
• Basic SQL knowledge for querying data
• Experience with Jira/Confluence in agile teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/DS or related field

Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights
• Develop, maintain and analyze Power BI dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics
• Design data models and relationships in Power BI
• Ensure data quality and governance in reports
• Provide training and support to end-users of Power BI
