Job summary

Accenture PLC in Western Sydney is seeking a Data Analyst - QA to analyse, interpret, and validate complex datasets, identifying trends and business insights to drive decisions. The role requires AUS citizenship with NV1 clearance and is based in Western Sydney.

You will develop dashboards with Power BI and Tableau, ensure data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver data-driven outcomes while adhering to data governance and security

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Data Analysis, BI, Reporting, or data-focused analytical roles.
• Strong SQL skills across multiple data sources.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, information management.
• Experience translating business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret, and validate complex datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Gather, document, and translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data quality through profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver outcomes.
• Develop reporting specifications and data dictionaries.
• Support operational and regulatory reporting and ad-hoc requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and BI capabilities.
• Ensure reporting aligns with data governance and security.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across reporting and data management.
