Job summary

Alspec, a national leader in aluminium systems, invites applications for a Powder Coating Operator at our Lonsdale site. You will set up and run powder coating spray equipment, maintain and clean machinery, and ensure correct prep of materials for coating.

Visual and DFT inspections ensure coating quality, with manual lifting up to 20 kg as required. We seek someone with customer-service experience, strong communication, and a keen eye for detail who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and

About the Role...

We are seeking a Powder Coating Operator to join our team at our Lonsdale site.

Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include.

• Set up and operate powder coating spray equipment.
• Ensure powder coating equipment is maintained and cleaned to the required standard.
• Prepare materials to be powder-coated, ensuring proper cleanliness and preparation has been performed before powder-coating application.
• Perform inspections, both visual and using a dry film thickness tester, to ensure correct coating quality and standards are achieved.
• Manual lifting of up to 20kgs

Ideally, you will have had previous experience in a Powdercoating role; however, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are a must, together with the ability to work within a small, dynamic and multi-skilled team.
