Job summary

Alspec is seeking a Powder Coating Operator for our Lonsdale site. The role involves setting up and operating spray equipment, maintaining and cleaning gear, and preparing materials for powder coating to meet high-quality standards.

You will perform visual inspections and thickness testing, lift up to 20 kg, and work in a dynamic, customer-focused team environment. A pre-employment medical may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-focused team and working to schedules/lead times.
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, with a can-do attitude and focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate powder coating spray equipment.
• Maintain and clean equipment to required standards.
• Prepare materials for powder coating ensuring proper preparation.
• Perform inspections (visual and with a thickness tester) to ensure coating quality.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg.
