Job summary

Ridgewood Powder Coating in Marcoola on the Sunshine Coast is seeking reliable and motivated Powder Coaters, Sandblasters and General Labourers to join our team. Immediate start available for full-time roles with on-site training and a supportive work environment.

We offer stable hours, full-time positions, and opportunities to develop skills within the powder coating industry. Prior industry experience is valued but not essential for general labouring roles.

Qualifications

• Experienced powder coating or sandblasting is highly regarded.
• General labouring positions do not require prior industry experience.
• Willingness to train and learn in a busy factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Powder coat aluminium and steel products.
• Sandblast and surface prepare items.
• Hang and unload products for coating.
• Mask and prepare items for coating.
• Wrap and pack completed work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist other production team members as required.

Powder Coaters, Sandblasters & General Labourers

Marcoola, Sunshine Coast QLD Full-time positions available Immediate start available

We are looking for reliable and motivated people to join our powder coating team in Marcoola on the Sunshine Coast.

We currently have opportunities for:

• Experienced Powder Coaters

• Sandblasters

• General Labourers / Factory Hands

Previous powder coating or sandblasting experience is highly regarded, however experience is not essential for general labouring positions. We are happy to train the right people who have a good attitude and are willing to work.

The Work

Depending on your experience and position, duties may include:

• Powder coating aluminium and steel products

• Sandblasting and surface preparation

• Hanging and unloading products

• Masking and preparing items for coating

• Wrapping and packing completed work

• General factory and workshop duties

• Moving materials and preparing jobs for production

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

• Assisting other members of the production team as required

• Are reliable and turn up to work on time

• Have a strong work ethic

• Can work effectively as part of a team

• Are comfortable working in a factory environment

• Are physically capable of manual work

• Take pride in the quality of their work

• Can follow instructions and workplace safety procedures

For Powder Coater and Sandblaster applicants, previous industry experience will be looked upon favourably.

A forklift licence is also an advantage but is not essential.
