Job summary

Workfast is seeking a Powder Coater for a Campbellfield, VIC site. You will prepare, coat and finish metal products, maintaining high quality and safe work practices. Monday–Friday shifts with overtime and potential to secure a permanent position after 3 months.

Ideal candidates have powder coating or painting experience, manufacturing background, and a strong commitment to detail and teamwork. You will operate coating equipment, perform surface prep, and uphold WHS standards in a busy

Powder Coater - Temp to Perm Opportunity $1800 p/w approx.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work, excellent pay and the potential to secure a permanent position with the client after 3 months, located in Campbellfield, VIC.

About the Role

As a Powder Coater, with previous painting or powder coating experience you will be responsible for preparing, coating and finishing a range of metal products while maintaining high-quality standards and a safe work environment.

• Powder coating metal products to a high standard
• Surface preparation, cleaning and masking
• Operating powder coating equipment
• Inspecting finished products for quality
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Assisting with general manufacturing duties as required
• Working overtime when required

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous powder coating experience - highly regarded
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work Monday to Friday and undertake overtime when required
• The right attitude and willingness to learn
