Job summary

NSW Health at Sydney Local Health District invites applications for Registered Midwife roles at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. The positions are Permanent Full Time and Part Time (minimum 24 hours per week) with hourly remuneration and benefits.

We offer ongoing professional development, mentorship, and a supportive team focused on patient care excellence. Eligible candidates must have AHPRA registration and be able to work a 7-day rotating roster with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster with 12 hour shifts.
• Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
