South West Healthcare in Warrnambool offers a 2027 Post Graduate Student - Midwifery Studies placement for Registered Nurses aiming to specialise in midwifery while undertaking postgraduate study. This paid, fixed-term placement provides hands-on experience within our Maternity Unit and holistic patient care across services.

Commencing February 2027, the part-time role is 48 hours per fortnight for 12 months, with a pro rata salary range of $89,284–$107,510 plus superannuation.

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Preferred minimum 2 years of relevant post-graduate nursing experience, or consideration for less experience for the right candidate.
• Well-developed clinical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to continued education and professional development.
• Confirmation of contact with Federation University Ballarat regarding course enrolment.
