Qualifications

• Current Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 12 months post‑registration clinical experience.
• Enrolment in Federation University Graduate Diploma of Midwifery (or approved equivalent).
• Recent clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current Basic Life Support competency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person‑centred nursing care in line with standards and policies.
• Undertake academic and clinical requirements of the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop/ evaluate care plans with patients and team.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive environment for women, babies, families and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health professionals to support coordinated care.
• Engage in ongoing learning, quality improvement and professional development.
