Job summary

The University of Sydney invites applications for a Part-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join a leading addiction medicine program based at RPA Hospital. Working with Professor Kirsten Morley, you will contribute to innovative research on mental health, substance use disorders, neuroimaging and psychopharmacotherapy, and you will help publish results and support grant-funded activity.

You will design and deliver projects, recruit participants, supervise junior researchers and HDR students,

Qualifications

PhD in a relevant discipline.
Demonstrated expertise in psychophysiology, wearables and HRV data analysis.
Demonstrated expertise in neuroimaging data analysis.
Experience with psychopharmacotherapy trials.
Experience recruiting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
Track record of publications in mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

Conduct original research independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
Contribute to design, implementation and delivery of addiction medicine and mental health projects.
Analyze neuroimaging data to support research outcomes.
Contribute to psychopharmacotherapy trials and clinical research.
Recruit and engage participants with mental health and substance use disorders.
Prepare publications and presentations; support grant applications.
