Job summary

The University of Sydney invites applications for a Part-time, fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Associate (Pharmacy Practice Research) to contribute to an NHMRC Investigator Grant program. Based at Camperdown campus, the role focuses on developing and delivering innovative pharmacy practice research to improve healthcare outcomes.

Working with clinicians and lived-experience input, you will co-design studies, manage ethics processes, and support trial implementation, publications, and grants,

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmacy or related discipline (or submitted and awaiting conferral).
• Experience leading or coordinating research projects.
• Proven record in preparing research manuscripts for publication.
• Strong understanding of qualitative research methodologies.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage research projects to ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
• Undertake qualitative and co-design research activities with clinicians and consumers.
• Prepare and submit human research ethics applications and study documentation.
• Assist with establishment and implementation of a randomised controlled trial.
• Liaise and collaborate with clinicians, researchers, stakeholders, and people with lived experience.
• Contribute to the preparation of research publications and dissemination activities.
• Support development of competitive grant applications.
• Mentor and support higher degree research students and junior researchers.
• Contribute to a collaborative and productive research environment.
