Job summary

The University of Sydney invites applications for a part-time, fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Associate (Level A) in Pharmacy Practice Research based at the Camperdown campus to join an NHMRC Investigator Grant program.

You will work with clinicians and researchers to co-design studies, submit ethics applications, and help establish a randomised controlled trial, contributing to high-impact publications and grant applications.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmacy, Public Health, or related discipline (or submitted).
• Experience leading or coordinating research projects.
• Experience preparing manuscripts for publication.
• Strong qualitative research skills.
• Excellent project management and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage research projects to ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables are achieved
• Undertake qualitative and co-design research activities with clinicians and consumers
• Prepare and submit human research ethics applications and study documentation
• Assist with the establishment and implementation of a randomised controlled trial
• Liaise and collaborate with clinicians, researchers, stakeholders, and people with lived experience
• Contribute to the preparation of research publications and dissemination activities
• Support the development of competitive grant applications
• Assist with mentoring and supporting higher degree research students and junior researchers
• Contribute to a collaborative and productive research environment
