Butter Fish Services in Melbourne invites a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. You will work with participants, families, support workers and professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred behaviour support.

You will receive weekly supervision from an Advanced Practitioner, opportunities for clinical mentoring, and travel regionally to regional and rural locations as required. The role supports meaningful work across metropolitan and regional communities.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant qualifications in psychology, behaviour science, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, disability or a related discipline.
• Experience in positive behaviour support, disability or allied health.
• Willingness and ability to undertake regional and rural travel.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
• Relevant NDIS screening and other required clearances.

Butter Fish Services is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. You will report directly to an Advanced Practitioner and receive weekly one-on-one professional supervision. This provides regular opportunities to discuss complex cases, receive clinical guidance, reflect on your practice and continue developing your professional skills.

You will work with participants, families, support workers and other professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred behaviour support.

Key responsibilities

Completing functional behaviour assessments

Developing and reviewing Behaviour Support Plans

Providing practical, evidence-informed behaviour support strategies

Working collaboratively with participants, families and support teams

About you

Relevant qualifications in psychology, behaviour science, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, disability or a related discipline
