Job summary

LiveBig is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Melbourne western region team. This full-time or part-time role (minimum 3 days) offers clinical autonomy, supportive supervision and opportunities to deliver evidence-based therapies to clients with disabilities.

You’ll conduct assessments, plan treatment, maintain records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while upholding NDIS Practice Standards and culturally safe practice.

Qualifications

• NDIS BSP registration and minimum core requirements.
• Experience in a like-for-like PBS role is desirable.
• Must have a driver’s license and own vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Check/Police Check/WWCC or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, evidence-based treatment, therapy planning and clinical reporting to clients with disabilities.
• Maintain detailed client records and update after each visit.
• Deliver services with sensitivity to cultural, linguistic and individual client needs.
• Schedule appointments and liaise with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary team members.
• Deliver supports in line with NDIS Practice Standards and relevant guidelines.

We’re currently looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Melbourne in the western region. Full-time or Part-time opportunity (minimum 3 days per week).

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with a team that shares your drive, supports your growth and values your voice.
• Provide comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatment, therapy planning and clinical reporting to clients with disabilities in line with best practice and based upon sound clinical reasoning.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, updating them after each visit or interaction.
• Ensure services are provided with sensitivity to the cultural, linguistic and individual needs of clients.
• Schedule appointments and liaise with your clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary team members to ensure efficient and effective best practice.
• Deliver supports in accordance with the relevant legislation and guidelines e.g NDIS Practice Standards.
