Job summary

NAB is seeking a Senior Consultant, Portfolio Strategy in Australia to shape portfolio strategies that drive growth, profitability and stronger customer outcomes. You will turn customer, competitor and market insights into clear commercial opportunities and recommendations.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable portfolio growth and present strategic insights to senior leaders.

Qualifications

Significant experience in portfolio management, cards, lending, banking, finance, consulting or commercial strategy.
Experience within a strategy function and managing portfolio performance or growth initiatives.
Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate customer insights into action.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and senior-level presentation skills.
A tertiary qualification in Business or another relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

Developing segment-based portfolio strategies to optimise customer mix, balances, yield and returns.
Analysing portfolio performance, customer behaviour, market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Identifying opportunities to increase card usage, customer engagement, retention and lifetime value.
Developing business cases and present strategic insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
Partnering across the business to embed growth opportunities while meeting risk, regulatory and customer outcome requirements.
