Job summary

NAB is seeking an experienced Portfolio Change Manager to join the Personal Banking Change & Enablement team in Australia. You will oversee change across multiple initiatives, coordinating planning, sequencing and prioritisation to ensure customer outcomes and operational stability.

You will lead change practitioners, guide stakeholder engagement and drive adoption, readiness and benefits realization across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years' experience in change management, transformation, business execution or program delivery.
• Proven experience leading change across large-scale enterprise initiatives and portfolios.
• Strong enterprise change management capability across strategic, operational, regulatory and technology change programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee portfolio-level change strategies across multiple programs and initiatives.
• Lead change planning, sequencing and prioritisation activities to ensure effective delivery and minimise change saturation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape change approaches and drive leadership accountability for adoption outcomes.
• Coordinate and oversee change activity across multiple concurrent initiatives and business areas.
• Lead teams of change practitioners, providing coaching, guidance, support and quality assurance.
• Oversee organisational impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, communication, learning and adoption strategies.
• Monitor readiness, adoption performance and benefits realisation outcomes across the portfolio.
• Manage portfolio change capacity, practitioner allocation and resource planning activities.
• Provide strategic change advice and recommendations to senior leaders and governance forums.
• Prepare executive reporting, presentations, insights and governance materials.
• Identify, assess and manage change-related risks, dependencies and adoption issues.
• Drive compliance with change governance standards, frameworks and risk requirements.
• Contribute to portfolio planning, prioritisation, governance and continual improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve change methodologies, tools and practices across Personal Banking Change & Enablement

• 8-12 years' experience in change management, transformation, business execution or program delivery
• Proven experience leading change across large-scale enterprise initiatives and portfolios
• Strong enterprise change management capability across strategic, operational, regulatory and technology change programs
• Experience leading teams of change professionals and building high-performing change practices
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing complex stakeholder groups
• Expertise across organisational impact assessment, communications, learning, readiness and adoption strategies
• Ability to translate business strategy and program outcomes into practical change interventions
• Strong change risk management, governance and compliance capability
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong written communication skills, including executive reporting and presentation development
• Experience operating in Agile and traditional delivery environments
• Banking and financial services experience highly regarded
• Curiosity about technology and how AI can be leveraged to improve change outcomes safely and effectively
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology or a related discipline preferred
