Knight Frank Australia is seeking a Senior Portfolio Accountant to manage end-to-end financial accounting for a national portfolio of roughly 10–16 properties, mainly retail with some healthcare assets. The role supports month-end processes, accruals and financial reporting, with hybrid work options and a focus on accurate stakeholder data.

Candidates with CA/CPA or equivalent are preferred, alongside experience in multi-property portfolio accounting and budgets/forecasts.

• Manage the full month-end accounting process across a portfolio of 10–16 properties.
• Prepare accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis and financial reports for clients.
• Process property and tenant charges, including rates, water and utilities.
• Support budgeting, reforecasting and annual outgoing reconciliation activities.
• Partner with centre and property teams to provide accurate financial information for decision-making.

Who are we looking for?

• Previous portfolio accounting experience within retailproperty or shopping centres.
• Strong experience managing month-end accounting acrossmultiple properties.
• Confidence preparing accruals, reconciliations, varianceanalysis and financial reports.
• Experience supporting budgets, forecasts and outgoingreconciliations.
• Relevant accounting qualification such as CA, CPA orequivalent, or working towards completion, is highly regarded.
