Job summary

Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street is seeking a friendly Porter to welcome guests and assist with luggage, car parking, and guest inquiries. You will support the Front Office and other departments while delivering high levels of service in a busy CBD hotel.

Ideal candidates are outgoing, well-presented, able to lift heavy objects, and hold a Australian Driver's Licence (dual manual & automatic). This full-time on-site role offers growth opportunities and staff discounts.

About Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street

Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street combines old world charm with modern luxuries! This stunning hotel in the heart of the CBD features 244 stylish guest rooms, including 10 spacious suites, a restaurant and bar, fully equipped gym and meeting & event spaces.

About the role

As a Porter, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel. You will be responsible for performing valet parking duties, transferring and storing luggage and providing information and advice to guest with your extensive knowledge of Melbourne and local attractions. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Engage with our guests to create lasting memories
• Retrieve and manage guest luggage
• Valet park guest cars and maintain accurate records of vehicles in the hotel’s care
• Arrange and assist guests with taxis
• Support other hotel departments when required
• Assist the Front Office team with basic reception duties, including but not limited to guest arrivals, departures and responding to enquiries
