Job summary

MACq 01 Hotel in Hobart seeks a Front Office/Guest Services professional to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and support the guest experience across the front of house.

You will handle luggage, valet parking, arrange transport, run errands and share information on facilities and local attractions to ensure memorable stays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role at a premium property (desirable)
• Current full manual Driver’s License is essential
• Tasmanian recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Strong time management, organisation, and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• Flexibility to work a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings

What you can expect in a day in this role:

In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating a warm, inviting, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. You’ll support the Front Office team with a strong focus on enhancing the guest experience, proactively identifying opportunities to deliver service that consistently exceeds expectations.
