Job summary

Qube Holdings at Port Kembla seeks individuals for shift work involving loading and discharging general and bulk cargoes. duties include operating machinery, shipboard and wharf tasks, plus basic clerical work. 24/7 availability with no set roster is required.

You will need a full manual driver’s licence; forklift/dogging/crane licenses are highly regarded, along with a trade qualification. Commitment to safety and 100% CoR compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full manual driver's licence.
• High risk licences in forklift, dogging and crane are highly regarded.
• Trade qualification is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal communication across varied people.
• Demonstrated safety behaviours and experience.
• Able to work autonomously with a proactive approach to tasks.
• Flexible and adaptable in a demanding port environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and discharge general and bulk cargoes.
• Operate machinery as required on site.
• Perform shipboard and wharf duties.
• Carry out basic clerical tasks as part of duties.
• Adhere to safety and Chain of Responsibility at all times.
