Job summary

Poolwerx Rockhampton is seeking a Pool & Spa Service Technician on a casual basis, based in Rockhampton, QLD. You will perform routine maintenance, test water chemistry and diagnose equipment faults to provide high-quality service.

You will complete service reports, maintain safety standards and be willing to travel within the service area. A Certificate III in Pool Plant Operation or equivalent is preferred, with strong focus on pool chemistry and equipment care.

• Sound knowledge of pool and spa chemistry and water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance including cleaning and balancing chemicals.
• Test and monitor water chemistry using testing equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot pool and spa equipment faults.
• Service filtration, pumps and heating equipment.
• Provide customers with care advice and best practices.
• Complete service reports and keep accurate records.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and ensure safety standards.

Poolwerx Rockhampton is seeking a Pool & Spa Service Technician to join our team on a casual basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in the pool and spa servicing industry, providing essential maintenance and support services to our valued customers. Based in Rockhampton QLD 4700, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and technical expertise. This casual position provides flexibility whilst allowing you to develop your skills in a growing and dynamic field.

What you'll be doing

Perform routine pool and spa maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspection

Test and monitor water chemistry using appropriate testing equipment and procedures

Identify and troubleshoot pool and spa equipment faults and malfunctions

Service and maintain filtration systems, pumps, and heating equipment

Provide customers with advice on pool and spa care and best practice maintenance

Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work completed

Respond promptly to customer enquiries and service requests

Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety standards

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Pool Plant Operation or equivalent qualification in pool and spa technology (or willingness to obtain)

Sound knowledge of pool and spa chemistry and water treatment processes

Competency in using pool testing equipment and maintaining accurate records

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work flexible hours as required

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the service area

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks

A safety-conscious approach to work with attention to detail

Preferably, experience with equipment repairs and troubleshooting
