Swimart Woree in Cairns is seeking a friendly Pool Service Technician to join our outdoor maintenance team. No experience is required; we provide all training, and you will learn to test water quality, apply chemicals, and service pool equipment.

If you are reliable, physically fit, hold a manual driver’s license, and enjoy hands-on work, this role offers an hourly rate with potential for full-time progression and a company vehicle after training.

Qualifications

The Role

We are looking for a Pool Service Technician to join our team! No experience? No problem. If you enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit, and are eager to learn, we will provide all the necessary training.

Your responsibilities will include

• Cleaning swimming pools and spas in residential and commercial settings
• Testing water quality and applying necessary chemicals
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Keeping the service vehicle organised and well-stocked
• Providing excellent customer service, including neat handwriting & basic math calculations

Who We’re Looking For

• You have full Australian working rights or are a permanent resident
• You have a manual driver’s license (essential)
• You are reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
• You enjoy hands‑on, active work and problem‑solving
• You take pride in your work and have good communication skills
