Job summary

Accor Darwin's resort is seeking a friendly casual Pool Ambassador to join the Food and Beverage team. You will help keep the pool area safe, clean, and welcoming while delivering attentive service to guests.

Key duties include enforcing safety rules, assisting with towels and seating, serving guests, and promoting Responsible Service of Alcohol. First Aid, CPR, RSA certifications are required, along with a guest‑focused attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce pool safety rules to ensure a positive, secure environment for guests.
• Assist with poolside amenities such as towels and seating arrangements.
• Keep pool areas clean, tidy and conduct routine inspections.
• Provide Food and Beverage service to guests.
• Greet and assist guests with information about pool facilities and amenities.
• Ensure Responsible Service of Alcohol is practiced at all times.

Job Description

We are looking for our next casual Pool Ambassador to join the team here at the Resort. Working as part of the Food and Beverage team, you'll ensure the pool is a safe and fun place for guests to relax and enjoy. Your main duties will include:

• Monitor and enforce pool safety rules to ensure a positive, secure and safe environment for guests.
• Offer assistance with poolside amenities, such as towels and seating arrangements.
• Keep pool areas clean and tidy and conduct routine inspections
• Food and Beverage service to guests
• Greet and assist guests, providing information about pool facilities and amenities
• Ensuring responsible service of alcohol is practiced at all times

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR is critical for this role
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
• Previous food and beverage service experience is desirable
• A guest focused attitude and willingness to provide exceptional service
• A safety-first mindset, ensuring the safety of our guests is a priority and confidence to take action where necessary
