Job summary

Exact Contracting are seeking experienced Poly Welders to join our team on civil infrastructure projects across South Australia and the Northern Territory. This role is ideal for candidates with pipeline installation experience and Butt / Electrofusion welding capability who enjoy working in a FIFO team environment.

You will be involved in the installation of pipeline systems, reading construction drawings, and collaborating with experienced crews in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Butt Welding accreditation (essential).
• Electrofusion accreditation (essential).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Civil pipeline installation experience.
• White Card (essential).
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Butt and Electrofusion welding of poly pipelines.
• Installation and alignment of pipe systems.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Working closely with pipe crews and plant operators.
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards onsite.

Exact Contracting are seeking experienced Poly Welders to join our team on civil infrastructure projects across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The Role

You will be involved in the installation of pipeline systems across civil infrastructure projects, working alongside experienced crews in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Butt and Electrofusion welding of poly pipelines
• Installation and alignment of pipe systems
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Working closely with pipe crews and plant operators
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards onsite

The successful candidate will have:

• Butt Welding and Electrofusion accreditation (essential)
• Experience operating McElroy Tracstar welding machines (highly regarded)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Civil pipeline installation experience
• White Card (essential)
• Current unrestricted driver's licence (essential)
• Excavator or loader experience (highly regarded)

Pre-Employment:

All candidates are required to complete a National Police Check, pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
