Oz Seals Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated, hands-on Polyurethane & Rubber Process Worker to join our manufacturing team at our Loganlea facility in a permanent full-time position.

No previous polyurethane, rubber or manufacturing experience is required. The role offers full training and the opportunity to develop skills across production, machining, maintenance and quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate polyurethane casting machines.
• Operate rubber vulcanising hydraulic presses.
• Monitor production equipment and adjust temperature, pressure and processing parameters.
• Trim, inspect, label and pack finished products.
• Conduct quality checks to meet company and customer requirements.
• Operate manual lathes for facing, trimming and machining clamping/back plates.
• Use hand and power tools in daily tasks.
• Load and handle raw materials and finished products.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and report equipment faults.
• Maintain production records as required.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe.

Key responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Setting up and operating polyurethane casting machines

• Conducting quality checks to ensure finished products meet company and customer requirements
• Operating manual lathes for facing, trimming and machining clamping/back plates
• Using hand tools and power tools
• Loading and handling raw materials and finished products
• Performing routine machine cleaning, servicing and preventative maintenance
• Assisting with basic troubleshooting and reporting equipment faults
• Maintaining production records where required
• Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
• Following workplace health and safety procedures and using appropriate PPE
• Working closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

No previous polyurethane, rubber or manufacturing experience is required.

Experience in manufacturing, machine operation, manual lathes, mechanical work or a similar workshop environment would be highly regarded but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

A valid driver's licence would also be advantageous.
