Job summary

AGnVET Services Group is seeking a skilled Poly Welding Technician for our Rochester, VIC site. The role focuses on polyethylene welding, precision measurement, and providing technical service support to agribusiness infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for performing fusion welding, inspecting welds, and maintaining detailed records while promoting a safe work environment and working collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams.

Qualifications

Requires Poly Welding Trade Qualification and Australian Driver’s Licence.
Experience in PE fusion welding methods (butt, electrofusion, extrusion, socket).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong commitment to WHS and safe welding practices.
Excellent time management and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Perform PE Fusion Welding (buttweld, electrofusion, extrusion, socket fusion) to spec.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials from drawings with precision.
Inspect welds and maintain accurate weld records and compliance.
Safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment.
Support warehouse operations and logistics with safe movement of materials.
