Job summary

GHS Solutions is seeking experienced Poly Welders for site works in and around the Midwest Region of Western Australia. The role involves project work on various sites, with FIFO or DIDO from Perth or Geraldton.

Applicants must hold a Poly Welding Ticket (Butt Weld & Electrofusion), Construction Industry White Card, Police Clearance, and pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol tests. On-site duties include welding pipelines and commissioning mechanical components while maintaining safety

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year post qualified experience as a poly welder.
At least 1 year of experience welding butt and electro fusion on mine/construction sites.
1 year experience using poly welding equipment and procedures, specifically Dixon welder.
On-site experience required.

Responsibilities

Welding a range of pipe diameters from DN63 to DN350.
Interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
Conduct commissioning on mechanical components on pipelines.
Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
Maintain high safety standards on site.
