Job summary

BNKD Services PTY LTD, a Newcastle-based HDPE pipeline specialist, is seeking a Poly Welder / HDPE Pipe Fitter to join its growing team. You will weld, install and commission HDPE pipelines across NSW, working with modern welding equipment and a team committed to quality and safety.

Experience in HDPE/poly pipe welding, butt fusion and electrofusion is essential, with flange management and tensioning skills highly regarded.

Qualifications

• HDPE/poly pipe welding experience required.
• Butt fusion welding experience required; electrofusion is highly regarded.
• Flange management and tensioning experience preferred.
• Internal and external debeading experience beneficial.
• Strong focus on safe work practices and quality.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Current driver’s licence; HR desirable.
• Construction White Card is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform HDPE butt fusion welding across a range of pipe sizes.
• Carry out electrofusion welding and associated pipeline installation works.
• Complete welding records, QA documentation and daily timesheets.
• Assist with pipe fabrication, installation and pressure testing.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools and vehicles to a high standard.
• Follow site safety procedures, SWMS and quality requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site teams, supervisors and other trades.

With a strong focus on quality workmanship, safety and project delivery, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Poly Welder / HDPE Pipe Fitter to join our growing team.

About the Role

Working across a variety of projects throughout NSW, you will be responsible for HDPE pipeline welding, installation and associated site works.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HDPE butt fusion welding across a range of pipe sizes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Experience in HDPE/poly pipe welding and pipeline installation.
• Competency in butt fusion welding, with electrofusion experience highly regarded.
• Experience with flange management and tensioning
• Experience internal and external debeading
• A strong understanding of safe work practices and quality requirements.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A reliable attitude and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• A current driver's licence. (HR desirable)
• Construction White Card.
• The ability to travel to project sites as required.

Experience with large-diameter HDPE pipelines and welding equipment such as High Pressure and Low Pressure machines will be highly regarded.
