Job summary

Guild Insurance is seeking a policy wording specialist to shape and maintain our policy wordings and product documentation. You will work with underwriting, claims, risk and compliance to keep documents clear, compliant and aligned with evolving customer and regulator needs.

The role emphasizes technical writing, stakeholder engagement and product development within a collaborative team across Australia.

Qualifications

Experience with policy wordings, underwriting, claims, product, risk or related legal environment.
Strong written communication and drafting skills.
Ability to interpret and simplify complex information.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Analytical thinking and sound judgement.
Confidence working with a broad range of stakeholders.
Experience with financial lines products will be highly regarded.
Legal qualifications or relevant legal experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Review, update and maintain Guild's suite of policy wordings and product documentation.
Identify coverage gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Draft policy wording amendments, endorsements and product updates.
Support the development of new products and wordings.
Partner with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, risk, compliance, legal and business teams.
Monitor and respond to regulatory and legislative changes impacting Guild's products.
Support change implementation, customer communications and stakeholder briefings.
Help improve the clarity and consistency of customer-facing policy documentation.
