Royal Automobile Club of Queensland is seeking a Policy Specialist to develop, maintain and govern Technology policies, standards and supporting frameworks. You will collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance and business teams to ensure governance is practical, effective and aligned with organisational objectives.

You will drive policy lifecycle processes, interpret regulatory requirements and provide governance artefacts to support audits and assurance activities.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining policy documentation within technology or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and policy lifecycle management practices.
• Experience translating regulatory, compliance and risk requirements into practical policies.
• Exceptional written communication skills and ability to produce concise documentation.

About the role

As a Policy Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and governing Technology policies, standards and supporting frameworks. Working closely with stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Compliance and the broader business, you'll provide expert guidance to ensure governance requirements are practical, effective and aligned to organisational objectives.

• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and high-quality documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse groups.
• Well-developed analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
